Ranch School

Flag Ranch School

Learning Life Skills Through Ranch Care

We are delighted to expand the experiences we offer with our herd and assorted small animals to children, ages 9 to 12, with the opening of Flag Ranch School this summer.

Through ranch work, animal care and face-to-face interactions, students will:

  • Collaborate in setting learning goals

  • Develop internal knowing

  • Solve practical problems

  • Sift through complex emotion

  • Form connections, with themselves, and each other

  • Discover nature's intelligence

Sessions will take place on Saturday mornings for eight consecutive weeks, allowing time between to integrate and practice learnings in daily life. Each class will have eight children, guided by two adult teachers.

At Flag Ranch School, students learn to care for the animals, the earth, and themselves. We cultivate curiosity, resilience, and somatic awareness—essential life skills that no classroom alone can teach.
