Experiential Learning for All Ages

Here, we break free from any formulas or techniques so that we can fully drop into our bodies and become present to our own deeper truth and knowing - both in regards to the guiding power of horses and in life and relationships beyond this partnership.
— Emily Anderson, Embodying Wild

We are honored and excited to support the work of our innovative, experienced and soulful faculty. We encourage you to reach out to them directly to join one of their group offerings, or to schedule an individual session. Also check our calendar for their postings. Click here more information about Flag Ranch School.

Kimberly Carlisle

Kimberly Carlisle co-founded Flag Ranch with Flag, a harness-racing horse. She is also a retired racehorse, though in the swimming pool. A graduate of Stanford University, her professional career has spanned writing, strategic consulting, fundraising, directing creative teams and all aspects of Flag Ranch. In addition to facilitating equine-guided programs for corporate groups, she has also led numerous trips for Stanford Travel Study; her favorites are their Family Adventures for children aged 8 to 18. She is also the mother of two beloved humans, and leads Flag Ranch School.

Cassandra Ogier

A pioneer in the equine-guided field, Cassandra provides transformative programs through The Reflective Horse that offer deep insight through somatic embodiment practices and reconnection to our limitless potential, guided by the wisdom and sovereignty of free-roaming horses. Two of them, Tibirico and Yolandi, live in our herd. Cassandra also lends her considerable experience as a parent, grandparent and leader of equine programs for teens and young adults to Flag Ranch School.

Contact her to book individual, partner, family, or group sessions, available as single or multi-day experiences.

Cate Collings

In addition to being the fine culinary chef for our Ranch Tour + Lunches, Dr. Cate Collings works collaboratively with clients to help them achieve their health goals through relationship-based, holistic, and data-informed lifestyle coaching drawn from her extensive background in cardiology, lifestyle medicine, and exercise physiology. Cate’s horse, Tracer, is part of our herd.

Contact her for private consultations.

Deborah Caldwell

In Deborah’s Dwell with Horses sessions, you will gain understanding and respect for the dynamics of our herd, learn to move with intention among the horses on the ground, and explore emotions that arise when surrounded by them.

You can email her to join a two-hour small group session scheduled by mutual convenience. She can also guide you as a volunteer in learning to work around the horses.

Sue Blake

In addition to serving as our Animal Care Manager, Sue Blake is a Master of Reiki, a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. She offers weekend-long introductory courses in Reiki and Reiki with Animals, and a monthly evening Reiki share.

You can contact her here.

Jacqui Pailing

Jacqui Pailing loves nature, horses, exploration and expansion. Her unique experience and studies in Spiritual Psychology, Equus Coaching, The Reflective Horse Mastery and more than 30 years of teaching and practicing yoga enable her to thoughtfully guide others.
