For those desiring deeper connection to their life and purpose, this series of one-day women’s retreats will nourish and empower you while we navigate these turbulent times from our wisest selves. We will look to the horses, who follow without question their innate wisdom, clear instincts, and bonds built on trust and respect. Author, animal advocate and Flag Ranch Steward Stephanie Marohn will guide meditation, visualization, rituals, journaling, drumming and immersions with our herd. You may choose to participate in one, some or all of these days.

April 18: Finding Your Way Home

May 16: Your Life’s Purpose

June 20: Animal Medicine

September 19: Connecting with Ancestors

Stephanie Marohn is the author of 10 books, including What the Animals Taught Me: Stories of Love and Healing from a Farm Animal Sanctuary and Goddess Shift: Women Leading for a Change. She runs the Animal Messenger Sanctuary, a safe haven for farm animals, and has an animal communication and energy healing practice. stephaniemarohn.com

Flag Ranch is located in the beautiful rolling grasslands of Calaveras County, approximately 2 hours east of San Francisco and 90 minutes south of Sacramento. No riding is involved and no horse experience is necessary.

Your place in our Experiences will be confirmed when your payment is received in full. Fees are fully refundable if we are notified 14 days or more in advance. Once confirmed, you will receive additional information including directions to the ranch.

Spring and fall weather can be variable, ranging from 70 degrees and breezy to 90 degrees and warm. Dress in layers, wear close-toed shoes and bring a hat and sunscreen.

Please bring your own lunch. To foster safety, awareness and the reduction of harm for animals, we are a plant-based sanctuary. We invite you to consider the benefits (to yourself, the animals and the planet) of a plant-based lunch. If you feel you need animal proteins, we ask you to consider how the animal is raised and purchase products from those farms and ranches that care for them healthily and thoughtfully.
